Rylie’s Smile Foundation has several ways in which we are helping families today. The following applications are for the guardians of children 18 & under suffering from a debilitating medical condition and are in need of assistance. Please choose the application below that best suits your current needs at this time.
Educational Cannabinoid 101 Application
For families who wish to learn more about the affects of medicinal cannabis through an online educational course. This course can be taken as time permits and progress is saved until completion. This course gives families in search of answers the foundation of knowledge concerning medicinal cannabis while being easy to understand. This course covers the history of Medicinal Cannabis, legalities, the Endocannabinoid System, Plant Science, different modes of administration, laboratory testing, Cannabis Myths and Data, Side Effects, Abuse and Misuse.
Educational Consultation Application
For families who wish to have a more personalized one-on-one educational experience. This consultation is 50-60 minutes. Afterwards the family may schedule follow up questions or consults through our online app. This consult goes over product laboratory testing, modes of administration, interactions and side effects, current research dat and their family member’s needs.
Nutritional Consultation Application
Nutrition is an important part of supporting our health and quality of life. It also plays a key role in how other supportive therapies will work. This consultation is performed via zoom by a Nationally Licensed Nutritionist and Life Style Coach who will discuss attainable steps in improving various health concerns that co-exist with most debilitating medical conditions.
Alternative Assistance Application
Once a families medical team has determined that an alternative therapy is an option to help improve their patient’s outcome families are often surprised to learn that insurance can not be applied to its cost. For many families this is a barrier for them to be able to access safe, legal, and consistent alternative therapy products long term. Applicants in need, referred by fellow non profits or research hospitals are encouraged to apply so that their application may be reviewed to have assistance granted.
Rylie’s Smile Spectrum Application
Since 2015, we have seen improvement in co-existing conditions of children who are diagnosed to be on the Autism Spectrum. Therefore, part of our focus has been to collect data on what has worked the best or has not worked for ones on the spectrum so that we may help guide them and offer what we learn to clinical researchers to help further their research as well. This consultation is for families who may still need further guidance in this area. This consultation is 50-60 minutes one-on-one by phone. Afterwards the family may schedule follow up questions or consults through our online app.
